Self Propelled Wheelchairs

A self propelled wheelchair is primarily designed so that they can be propelled by the user themselves, as well as being pushed by a companion. Aself propelled wheelchair can be easily distinguished by the two large wheels at the back, and the two small caster wheels in front.

Aside from our excellent selection of Attendant wheelchairs, we also have a collection of wheelchair power packs, which can be fitted to either type ofwheelchair to help make light work of pushing up hills, ramps or other uneven surfaces. Our wheelchair power packs are easy to operate by finger control, and can travel up to 4 mph with a range of 10 miles.
